in the early nineties, Kathy was planning
to attend a scientific conference in
Sydney, Australia. Shane decided to
tag along and both of them started lessons
for scuba certification. After
the conference, Shane and Kathy sailed
from Port Douglas to the Great Barrier
Reef on board a high speed catamaran
for their first open water dived.
Needless to say the trip was visual
paradise and both of them were hooked.
